This has been a small roller coaster ride when it comes to the story of this game and what happens when you actually play it.
It's very interesting to see how the blurb to have you play the game makes it sound like an android who is obsessed with you and will try and get ahold of you no matter what it takes, and is very upset whenever they fail.
However, playing it was an interesting experience as even when you do agree to date it, they don't even like that answer and you still end up stabbed and dead (Honestly I chose the more realistic answer first which was that the MC didn't have feelings, as it would have been the first time in years they saw it).
That does not mean it was not enjoyable, it very much is and I am very much intrigued by the premise of this story!
The artwork is very well done, especially with the spritework of Circuit, honestly the very obvious android mouth, cheeks and other little details was utterly charming to look at! The way the eyes tell so much with the sprite was very enjoyable to look at, along with the backgrounds having a slightly dreamy feel to them, especially the ones after the campus background!
The soundtrack is well done and placed, honestly I usually don't care too much about soundtracks, but the song that plays as you're going to make your choice was perfect with the low kind of synth soundtrack, very well done!
The story is pretty gripping, and I kind of like how the interaction with the player and Circuit are going because they have probably heard the same thing out of the player's mouth so many times, and seeing the kind of disconnect happen not through the eyes of the person experiencing a loop, but through the eyes of someone who is meeting with someone experiencing it was honestly so well done! (When the player character lamented that they rathered not to have seen him again rather than watch their friendship dissolve in real time was a really interesting way to see them go about it!)
All in all a very good demo and I hope to see more soon, but of course take your time and stay hydrated!
Thank you so much for the feedback!! I'm really glad the demo is intriguing enough to make you want to see more, and the team and I will definitely continue to work on it this month 🫡
