Weekly Devlog #2


Welcome to Bent Wires' second weekly devlog!

Progress is being made on the next two scenes of Bent Wires, including sprites, CGs, soundtrack, and finding background/environment images. The main challenge for me this week was adjusting the volume of some of the voice tracks and OST so they aren't competing with each other. But I think I've mostly figured that out now, so we're back to pressing onwards!

We are still working on a longer demo release, but I will be sure to make a separate devlog once that's made public. I'd estimate the completed game will be ready by the end of 2025 if all goes well, maybe rolling over a little bit into early 2026 if we need extra time. Either way, the team and I are doing our best to ensure the wait will only be as long as it needs to be!

Overall, development is still going smoothly. It's much more relaxed now that Spooktober is over, but it's still rolling along. So with that, I'm going to get back to work on programming! See you next week!
